Exceptional wines curated for Guernsey.

Guernsey-born Josh Sebire has been travelling the world since a young age, and has now returned home to open Black Sabre Fine Wine Merchants at Ocean House, North Esplanade.

For the last decade Josh worked at sea as a superyacht captain, travelling all over the world. On board he was responsible for buying the wine, including some of the world's most exclusive labels and vintages. It was during this time that his love of wine grew from an interest and hobby into a passion and a new career path. He has spent the last five years working through the WSET wine qualifications and is currently studying for the WSET Level 4 Diploma in Wines.

Josh has also been lucky enough to visit many vineyards and wineries in Europe and the USA, and looks forward to visiting many more around the world. His favourite wine is Tignanello.
